Aric surprised me with a little getaway to NYC for our last official "babymoon". And what better way to experience the city than with the best of friends! Tara and Brad were going to be in NYC for on of Tara's conferences, and it just so happened that flights during the same time of the conference were SUPER cheap. He made some calls to my mom and sister (THANK Y'ALL!) and got the childcare taken care of and off we went to explore the city! 7 months pregnant and all! Traveling with Tara is the best! She has the most insane sense of direction, she knew exactly where we needed to be anytime we would get underground to the subway! (me on the otherhand - was following blindly because I lose all sense of direction when I can't see the dang sun!)
We packed a ton in, saw all the sights as it was Aric's first time to NYC! But my favorite things were of course sitting down to dinner with friends, delicious meals and better conversations. Doesn't matter where I am in the world, I've decided my favorite thing to do is gather around a dinnertable with friends or family and just take it slow. Enjoy the food and drinks, enjoy the conversation and take it all in! My absolute favorite! More on this later!! Enjoy a few pictures from the "big camera" from our trip!
